STAMP IT // VARIATION

As I liked the stamps with the different colour background to foreground I decided to take it a step further and use images of seeds as the back ground swell but in the different colour. I really like the effect, its colourful and very eye catching but I am losing a bit of legibility which I will have to address.

STAMP IT // LAYOUT & COLOUR

I don't feel the above format for the stamp works very well so I shall stick to a portrait format. I also feel the queens head is too promonante in this and detracts from the seeds, so I will try ways of making her less bold.

I like this format and layout for the stamp, the queen is a lot less in your face but yet still very visible as this is Important. I like the range of colours in these stamps especially the last set off four where the background is a different colour, I think they stand out well which will make the audience notice and read them.

these are other patterns I decided to experiment with as they may come in handy when designing extra promotional material.

STAMP IT // NATIVE AMERICAN PATTERN

After researching patterns I discovered lots of native american patterns that mean world, all from different tribes or with slightly different meanings like earth

I will place the seeds in these patterns resembling the patterns with meaning to do with earth.

'sun'

'life'

'world'

'earth'

'mother earth'

STAMP IT // DESIGN EXPERIMENTAION

Pattern experimentation. I decided to experiment with some rice and pepper corns as I don't currently have any seeds. I wanted to see what patterns would look like against the coloured card. I think it works well as there is a nice contrast and will look better with a better camera. I will use this technique for my stamps.
