The poster I decided to enter for the Erik Kessels competition was this one :
I decided to use this one as I feel it gives the strongest message and strongest image out of the 3 and portrays rain in a beautiful way. I chose to do the text on a slate to resemble the action of rain. I chose this background image from my selection of photographs from inside puddles as it is the least abstract one. I do like the patterns and mysterious effect the other photographs achieve, but as it was pointed out to me in the crit it is too abstract and does not connote rain well.
