ISTD : STAMP

As this project is based around postcards and circulating facts. People say that post is a dying thing as people just send emails or e-cards but postcards are still a form of post that is going strong, and to honour that and promote 'Things you should be knowing' I create 3x 1st class and 3x 2nd class stamps.

After trying out square and rectangular format, I have decided to go for rectangular as that way there is more space to let the images breath, rather than the frame being completly filled up with the logo.

I have also decided to make a first day cover as that is what you have to do when you create a new stamp. A first day cover must take the format of something that goes through the post such as an envelope or a stamp. I am opting for postcard format for obvious reasons. the stamps are then placed on the postal matter and stamped with an ink stamp that has he date and place the stamps were created.
